🧉For several generations of Argentinians, Carlos "El Indio" Solari represented a way of inhabiting the world, an ethic of resistance, a poetics of helplessness, and a community built on the margins. ⚡In this second installment of McC Afterdark, we propose a philosophical analysis of the Ricotero phenomenon, exploring three main themes: • The critique of social control, biopolitics, and consumerism in Indio's lyrics. • The pogo as a Dionysian experience, a collective ritual, and an act of cultural resistance. • The figure of Indio as a unique form of symbolic fatherhood for generations exposed to social, political, and existential hardship. 📖Drawing on authors such as Michel Foucault, Friedrich Nietzsche, Georges Bataille, and Jacques Lacan, we will explore the philosophical, political, and anthropological dimensions of one of the most important cultural experiences in contemporary Argentina.
