AI Governance for Policymakers: Lessons from AI 101 Masterclasses Across Africa | Webinar Recording

In this webinar recording, experts from across Africa reflected on the realities of AI governance, drawing on lessons from Qhala's AI 101 Masterclasses for Policymakers, delivered across Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa in 2025 and 2026 with support from Luminate. The discussion explored the governance gaps, implementation challenges, and opportunities that emerged while training policymakers across the continent. It also marked the launch and discussion of two Policy Briefs and two Advocacy Briefs, developed to support governments in building practical, ethical, and inclusive AI governance systems.
