TEAM 911 2025 Final runs Bonneville, El Mirage S.C.T.A. Land Speed Racing.

The Last Hurrah – The Final Run of the World’s Fastest Roadster After years of chasing speed across the desert and salt, the legendary 911 roadster makes one final attempt at a record before being retired to a museum. Campaigned by owner Dave Davidson and powered by the hard work of a dedicated crew, the blown fuel roadster made history as the first traditional roadster to exceed 300 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats. In 2025, the team returned for one last effort during the Southern California Timing Association (SCTA) Bonneville National Meet. The season began at El Mirage Dry Lake, where the car captured another record in May. But Bonneville would test the team like never before. Mechanical failures, tragedy on the salt, and relentless determination led to a final run that no one on the team will ever forget. This short documentary follows the crew through their final campaign and the dramatic last attempt of one of the fastest roadsters ever built. Featuring team members: Dave Davidson John Beck Paul Bowman Donnie Cummins Dennis & Diane McNamara Joe Pando Mike Kilger John Andrusak Snow Thornsberry (In Memory) Nathan Testin Tom Stewart Brent Everett Land speed racing is one of the purest forms of motorsport — racers versus distance, time, and the limits of physics. This is the story of their final run.
