Why Spiritual AWAKENING Can Get Brutally Messy (Personal Experience)
In this episode, I talk about what a spiritual awakening really feels like — the beauty, the confusion, and the unraveling that comes when the soul begins to remember itself. My first awakening happened in 2010, during a Kundalini Yoga class, when I suddenly felt this deep sense of home. That moment changed everything. My life fell apart in the best and hardest way — I got sick, stopped drinking, moved back to Bali, and started seeing the false identities I had created to survive. Spiritual awakening isn’t clean. It’s messy, emotional, and deeply human. It brings up the shadow, suppressed emotions, and the parts of ourselves we’ve hidden. But it’s also the doorway to truth — to compassion, to authenticity, to coming home. If you’re moving through your own awakening, I hope this brings peace to your process. You’re not alone. 🌸 — Sit with Sausan 🤍
