Pan-fried Bun with Radish (Vegan) When I saw these little radishes in the supermarket, I couldn't help but quickly put them in my shopping cart. But do you have any idea what else can you make of it, besides making soup? How about pan-fried buns with a radish filling 🙂. Usually, I would also add dried shrimps. But since I don't have them in stock now, this time it will be a vegetarian dish. Soaking the dough in oil takes a long time, but it is super flexible afterwards and can be rolled out really thin and long. That’s totally amazing. And don't forget to take a bite right after fried (careful, hot) - it's so delicious! With this recipe, you'll cook 8 Pan-fried Buns. Or do you prefer it meaty? Mix flour, salt as well as water and knead into a dough. Cover with a wet towel and wait for 10 minutes. 2. After 10 minutes, divide the dough into 8 parts. 3. Pour some oil on a plate. Put those small doughs on the plate, each dough should be moistened with oil. Soak for 2-3 hours. [Radish Filling] • 350g Peeled Radishes • 100g Peeled Carrots • 10g Dried Mushrooms • 5g Salt • 3g White Pepper Powder • 10g Sesame Oil 1. After doughs are soaked for about 2 hours, we can start to prepare the filling. 2. Pour some water to the mushrooms and soak them for softly. 3. Peel and shred radishes as well as carrots with a grater. Add salt and mix well. Set aside for 10 minutes. 4. Cut mushrooms into strips, set aside. 5. After 10 minutes, squeeze out the radish water and pour the water away. Mix radish, mushrooms, pepper powder and sesame oil well. [Dough] + [Radish Filling] 1. Roll each of dough into a strip. Put some filling on a side of the dough. Roll and wrap it. Try to wrap the filling into the dough. 2. Add some oil to the pan and fry buns over medium heat. It takes about 6-7 minutes for each side. Fry until both sides of the bun are brown and the side around is cooked, then take it out from pan. 3. The pan-fried bun tastes best after it’s just fried. Eat it with soy sauce paste or chili sauce. It’s delicious, even without sauce. Enjoy! Miss J’s Suggestions 1. You can divide the filling into 8 parts before wrapping. Or you can weigh the empty mixing bowl before making the filling at beginning. It is easy to calculate weight of each filling when wrapping. 2.
