Life in a Tatar Muslim Village in Russia | Grandma's House & Abandoned Places

In this video, I’m taking you on a walk through my grandparents’ village and sharing stories I grew up hearing about life here. We visit my grandmother’s old house, explore abandoned buildings, and talk about what life was like during the Soviet era. This is a Tatar Muslim village with a long history. One of the most interesting places is the village mosque, which was recently restored. During the USSR, religion was discouraged, and many religious buildings were repurposed. This mosque was once used as a dance club before being returned to its original purpose. We also visit the abandoned canteen where my grandmother used to work, explore an old kindergarten that has been left empty for years, and walk through the village school and local shop. Seeing the kindergarten rooms and old Soviet-style facilities was both fascinating and surprising. This vlog is part village tour, part family history, and part look back at a way of life that has changed dramatically over the years. Join me as I share memories, local stories, and a glimpse into the past of this small village that means so much to our family. #VillageLife #FamilyHistory #TatarVillage #USSRHistory #RuralRussia #VillageVlog #MuslimVillage #SovietUnion #AbandonedPlaces #FamilyStories #TravelVlog #HistoryVlog
