Menai Straits shore dive, Anglesey, North Wales
This dive is a shore dive beneath the Menai suspension bridge. It's a scenic dive with a maximum depth of around 20 metres. You have to ensure you dive at slack water because the tide can run at up to 8 knots in the straits. John Brunsdon & I admired the wildlife while Andy Heslop & Graham Owen collected it for the pot. For details of the dive see Chris Holden's " Underwater guide to North Wales Vol 1 " pages 122 - 125.
