The Split Finally Started Queen Cells!
This is the follow-up to my Day 4 split check. A few days ago, I checked this split and did not find any queen cells, so I gave them another frame with fresh eggs and very young brood from a second donor hive. This time, the split has 2 queen cells started. Now the plan is to leave them alone and give those cells time to develop and follow up again as this split works toward raising a new queen.
