Driving from Stalden to Tasch, Switzerland- The road to the Matterhorn

This video showcases the beautiful scenery seen when driving from Stalden to Tasch. The distance between the two cites is 23 kilometers and the drive takes approximately 24 minutes to complete. Tasch is the closest city to the Matterhorn that allows motor vehicles. Tasch has a giant parking terminal for transfer from your car to shuttle trains to Zermatt. The Tasch to Zermatt shuttle distance is three kilometers and takes 12 minutes. Once your in Zermatt there are multiple ways to get close to the Matterhorn; like the Gornergrat Railway (the station is directly across from the Zermatt train station), or just outside the city are some wonderful cable cars offering fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, including the Matterhorn (weather permitting). z
