Based in Nelson, British Columbia, we’ve been building custom tiny homes for over 10 years, with an average of 4-5 builds each year. Our builds have evolved over the years, but we’ve stuck with a basic layout inspired by our “Winter Wonderland” house. After receiving multiple client requests, we've refined the design and are now working with a CSA certifying company to ensure top-notch safety and performance. Key Highlights in This Video: The V-House Style: This is our largest model, featuring a single-pitched shed roof. It’s built on a gooseneck trailer, measuring 44 feet long. CSA Certification: We’ve chosen the park model category under the CSA Z241 standard, ensuring all our homes meet rigorous electrical, plumbing, gas, structure, and roadworthiness safety checks. Wider and Taller Homes: Our park model certification allows us to build wider (about 1.5 feet) and taller (half a foot) homes than traditional road-legal limits. Why the Park Model Category: These homes are designed to be stationary, placed on a solid foundation, and lived in long-term. They’re heavier than RVs and are not ideal for frequent relocation. Financing and RV Options: We’re considering offering the same homes under the RV category for easier financing options, as it seems to be a more accessible route for some clients.
