Foden S21. Two stroke. Going home. (Warning contains industrial language).
Johnny takes to the wheel for the second time delivering this Foden S21 (commonly known as a Mickey Mouser) back to the owner after the five year restoration is completed. The 1st road test video ( • Foden S21. 1967. Foden Mk 6 Two stroke eng... ) of this vehicle is my most popular to date, so here is a little more for all you Foden two-stroke, 12-speed fans. Featuring mainly in-cab shots from the return journey back to the owner, calling in for a brake test en-route at our good friend's Marshall's Coaches who have a set of brake rollers capable of testing a double drive boggie with no 'third differential' (Power divider to our American and Southern Hemisphere friends). There is also a demonstration of the up-shift gear sequence of the 12-speed triple range gearbox of which so many questions arose from the road test video.
