David Bromwich –The Consistency of Edmund Burke
David Bromwich is Sterling Professor of English at Yale. He has written books on William Hazlitt, Wordsworth, and on universities (Politics by Other Means). Having just published vol. 1 of The Intellectual Life of Edmund Burke, he is now working on vol. 2. He has a B. A. (1973) and Ph. D. (1977) from Yale, and has written for The New Republic, TLS, and The New York Review of Books. Presented by the Program on Constitutional Government on March 27, 2015.
