Ugandans Turn Museveni's Mandatory Cleaning Day Into a Festival!

Museveni ordered Ugandans to stay home and clean. Ugandans had other ideas. While many participated in the mandatory national cleaning exercise, others turned the day into something completely different. The streets became football pitches. Others played games, laughed, danced and enjoyed themselves. And in doing so, they reminded the country of one simple truth: You can order people to clean. You can't order away their joy. In my view, this was more than people having fun. It was proof that even under difficult political circumstances, Ugandans refuse to surrender their spirit.
