When we embrace the idea of a 50:50 division of chores, what we often end up with is resentment, self-righteousness, pride, entitlement, bitterness, and division. Life is not completely fair. It is not possible to accurately measure everything out so that each person does exactly 50% of the work. When we try to measure like this, we destroy romance, love, appreciation, and respect..
