Tombak Academy by Ziya Tabassian - Level 2, ep. 3 – How to play the Plang (P) Tombak is the main percussion instrument in Persian music. The name of the instrument comes from the two basic sounds of the drum : the Tom and the Bak. In the second level, we are adding more sounds to the basics sounds that we learned in the level one (Tom, me, bak and ke). In this episode, we are learning how to play the Plang (snap). We will call it Peh and we will use “P” to present this stroke.
