CANADIAN FRIGATE REFUELS AT SEA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PACIFIC | RIMPAC 2026

On July 8, 2026, Royal Canadian Navy frigate HMCS Ottawa (FFH 341) conducted a Replenishment-At-Sea with US Navy dry cargo ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE-11) in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Hawaii. This operation took place during the sea phase of Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2026. RIMPAC is the world’s largest international maritime exercise. Held from June 24 to July 31, 2026 in and around the Hawaiian Islands, this year marks the 30th iteration since the exercise began in 1971.
