We Slept Overnight in a 15th-Century Church...The Bells Didn’t Stop!

We spent the night inside St Barnabas Church, a beautiful 15th-century medieval English church in Queen Camel, Somerset, to experience what it’s really like staying overnight inside a historic church. This overnight stay was part of the Churches Conservation Trust Champing programme, which allows visitors to spend the night inside some of England’s most historic churches. Joined by my dog Toby, we stayed overnight inside St Barnabas Church from evening through to morning, exploring the atmosphere of this incredible Somerset church and documenting what happened throughout the night. If you enjoy: • medieval churches in England • historic UK locations • Champing experiences • overnight challenges • church bell mysteries • exploring old buildings after dark then this overnight stay inside St Barnabas Church, Queen Camel is for you. 📍 Location: Queen Camel, Somerset, England ⛪ Church: St Barnabas Church (15th century) 🏛️ Experience: Champing with the Churches Conservation Trust 🐕 Companion: Toby Would you spend the night inside a medieval church? 🔔 Stayed overnight at St Barnabas Church, Queen Camel with Champing from the Churches Conservation Trust. 🔗 Champing: https://champing.co.uk/ #SleepingInAChurch #MedievalChurch #Champing
