In June 2026, as my second challenge in my 50s, I embarked on my longest solo motorcycle tour ever – a 24-night, 25-day trip from Kagoshima to Hokkaido on my Tenere 700. This video covers my journey from Kyushu to Hokkaido by ferry, through Tomakomai and Asahikawa. I hope to convey the unique charm of Hokkaido touring, including the route utilizing the Pacific Ferry, the scenery along the way in search of breathtaking views, and the encounters I had at various destinations, accommodations, and rider houses.
