THE HIMALAYAS AT 30000 FEET 🏔️

From emotional goodbyes and mountain sickness to breaking through the clouds to witness the Mighty Himalayas—this was the hardest, yet most beautiful 100 KM of my life. ⛰️❤️🌧️ The Story: Saying goodbye to Sikkim is never easy, but saying goodbye to Mom was the hardest part. As the heavy emotions settled in, the mountains decided to cry with us—a sudden downpour began just as we waited for our taxi. What followed was a chaotic, beautiful, and physically testing 100 KM survival drive to Bagdogra International Airport. Navigating thick fog, winding roads, and a heavy dose of motion sickness (thanks to our family genes! 🤢 Window seat vs. plastic bag was a real battle), we finally made it to the heavily guarded Bagdogra military airbase. But the mountains weren't done with their surprises. Just as our flight took off and cut through the gloomy weather, the clouds parted to give us the ultimate parting gift: a breathtaking view of the majestic Kanchenjunga, followed by the endless, snow-capped horizon of the Mighty Himalayas. This is a story of separation, survival, and the magic of the mountains.
