Torrente Sam Marco - Noto (SR)
Il Torrente San Marco è il maggior affluente del fiume Manghisi. Un posto incantevole dove l’acqua incontaminata del torrente e le diverse specie animali e vegetali rendono Cava San Marco e Cava Putrusino tra i luoghi più belli degli Iblei. Si percorre il fondovalle in acqua e lungo i sentieri attraversando un bellissimo bosco di querce, salici, pioppi, olmi, platani e un fitto sottobosco. Lungo il percorso ci si imbatte in piante da frutta come noci e loti, testimonianza della presenza dell'uomo. Risalendo il torrente si incontrano due cascate dove l’acqua si riversa in piccoli laghetti. Uno spettacolo della natura.
