The cloud forest of the Tacaná volcano is home to the most beautiful bird in the world: the quetzal. We enter a community on the slopes of the volcano to discover with the help of local guides the habitat of the Peacock Bass and the Quetzal, iconic species of Chiapas. We also walk through a canyon to appreciate the Sangre del Tacaná, an incredible waterfall that is dyed red by the minerals of the volcano. We must reach the municipality of Cacahoatán, and from there take a road that leads us between flowering coffee plants, in a few months all of them will be full of the valuable fruit.
