We’re continuing our search for the best cha chaan teng in Richmond BC with a visit to the newly opened Man Tung Cafe. Unlike many old school Hong Kong cafés, this spot leans heavily into modern Instagram-style decor with bright red leather seating, Lunar New Year decorations, lucky sayings, and a trendy café atmosphere. We tried a customizable combo featuring BBQ pork, soy sauce chicken, curry beef brisket, crispy pork with honey pepper glaze, baked pork chop rice, and classic beef ho fun to see how this newer generation cha chaan teng compares to Richmond favorites like Angel Cake Cafe and Cafe Gloucester.
