This Quiet Corner in Bellevue Has Some Real Food Gems
Today we’re exploring Lake Hills Village in Bellevue, a growing neighborhood filled with new condos, apartments, and an emerging food scene that not many people are talking about yet. This area has quietly turned into a small food hub, and since I grew up nearby, it’s been really interesting to see how much it has changed over time. In this video, we check out a variety of restaurants all located within the same area, from Malaysian comfort food to brunch, malatang, and unique Asian desserts. We start with Malaysian classics like roti canai, nasi lemak with beef rendang, and Hainanese chicken rice, sharing an honest take on flavor, texture, and how it compares to what you might find in Southeast Asia. Then we come back on a different day to try a neighborhood brunch spot with chicken and waffles and a full breakfast plate to see if it holds up as a reliable local option. We also stop by a popular malatang spot where you can build your own bowl with a variety of meats, vegetables, and noodles, perfect for solo dining or when you want a customizable hot pot style meal without the full experience. To finish, we explore two dessert spots, one offering unique ice cream flavors like spicy guava and mango made with real fruit and a dense texture, and another known for Taiwanese shaved ice, taro balls, tofu pudding, and other classic Asian desserts that are not overly sweet. If you are looking for hidden food gems in Bellevue, affordable eats, or just want to discover new places outside of the usual spots, Lake Hills Village is definitely worth checking out. This video focuses on honest food reviews, real experiences, and what is actually worth your time. #BellevueFood #LakeHillsVillage #SeattleFood #BellevueEats #HiddenGemsSeattle #AsianFood #MalaysianFood #HainaneseChickenRice #NasiLemak #RotiCanai #Malatang #HotPot #BrunchSpots #ChickenAndWaffles #AsianDessert #IceCreamLovers #TaiwaneseDessert #FoodieSeattle #FoodReview #CheapEatsSeattle For my Cantonese channel: / @midnightkitchen-cantonese Art: Snow & Leaf https://instagram.com/snowandleaf?igs...
