During the Agro24Cast, INPA researcher Evandro Ferreira clarified that the disease known as "sudden death," identified in cupuaçu plants at RECA, is different from moniliasis, currently considered the greatest threat to the production chain. According to him, the former is already the subject of research pointing to a possible solution through biological control.
