North Shore Scenic Railroad Duluth Zephyr ride/chase

On July 4th, 2024, my friend and I stopped at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum in downtown Duluth, Mn. On this day they were operating their most popular excursion The Duluth Zephyr, which is a 75 minute round trip from Duluth Union Depot to an area called Lakeside on the outskirts of downtown. Since they were running 3 trips that day we decided to ride one than chase the next. The power for that days trip would be Great Northern SD45 #400, and we would ride in a former Santa Fe/Autotrain full length dome car “Sky View.” Overall it was a short but sweet trip with some great views of Lake Superior.
