“Lilac and Gooseberries” is the album’s first emotional dark fantasy ballad, centred on Geralt’s memory of Yennefer and the scent that follows him through the war-torn roads of White Orchard. It blends tragic romance with cinematic Slavic folk metal, moving from quiet acoustic darkness into a huge, sorrowful chorus. The song captures love, fate, memory and the painful bond between Geralt and Yennefer before the wider search for Ciri fully consumes the story.
