Slowly whisk in cold lager until the batter is smooth and similar to double cream. Cut Spam into thick slices and dust in seasoned flour. Dip each slice into the batter, then fry in hot oil at around 180°C until golden and heated through. Serve with chips, peas, or your favorite dip for a perfect retro treat!
