For coating the Spam slices- 4 tablespoons Self Raising flour Batter- 90g (3.2 oz) Self Raising flour 145ml (5.1 oz) Beer or sparkling water Seasoning - 1 Vegetable OXO cube (crushed) 1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder or granules 1/2 Teaspoon onion powder or granules 1/2 Teaspoon smoked paprika 1/2 Teaspoon salt For frying - Vegetable or sunflower oil a couple of inches deep in the bottom of a frying pan **Perfect served with creamy mashed potato & baked beans!
