The Deep Dark Secret of Charing Cross Underground

You’re travelling on London Transport. Charing Cross tube station is where you go for the Northern Line or Bakerloo Line Underground train. Right? But there's more to this station than you might realise. There’s a hidden world down there. A disused station complex. With platforms and tunnels that snake under Trafalgar Square, around the base of Nelson’s Column, and ventilate through to nearby Craven Street. It’s where Daniel Craig as James Bond in Skyfall escaped to safety. I reveal some of the secrets in this film. But perhaps you’d like to see it for yourself? Happily, it’s open to the public at various times on a limited basis. It’s operated by the London Transport Museum. Here’s a link: https://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/hidden-london. I can’t promise you more of the same, but you’ll always find something that bit different… Thank you! Katreya
