Irish Rail / Iarnród Éireann was formed the previous February. The next seen captures 043 departing from behind the station signal cabin departing platform 3 with a laden coal and oil Asahi liner the Foynes to Ballina. The final scenes show the down evening passengers to Westport and Ballina departing Claremorris and heading onwards to their destinations.
