BEARTOOTH PASS: 1,000 FT CLIFFS, HAIRPIN TURNS & A FUEL CRISIS

The EPIC Family Road Trip: Episode 11 // This week we began our adventure driving through the Teton Pass to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where we celebrated 4th of July and explored the beautiful and historical town. We then made it to the magnificent Grand Teton National Park where we camped within the park and spent a few days taking in the scenery and wildlife around us. We then headed to the fascinating and dangerously beautiful Yellowstone National Park where we watched the world famous “Old Faithful” geyser explode into the sky. On our journey to Montana we got into an area with no service, and since we didn’t know where we were going, we ended up taking “Beartooth Pass”. This was a white knuckle drive up a 10,900+ ft mountain, around many hairpin turns along 1,000 + ft cliffs while we were low on diesel and losing daylight! What an unexpected and EPIC adventure!
