Preserving the Past - The H&F Railway and the H&FRHS Archives
Enjoy a brief summary of the Hagerstown & Frederick Railway Company's important and varied history and what the Hagerstown & Frederick Railway Historical Society has been doing to preserve it. The H&F was an interurban railway in central Maryland which developed into a significantly sized rural railway system and extensive electrical network. The H&FRHS participates in community events and since 2020 has been digitizing and expanding our research capabilities with the help of a National Railway Historical Society Heritage Grant to upgrade our artifact and photograph collection.
