In this video, I compare the boss theme “Battle Scene A,” added in the remake of Final Fantasy II, across different versions: WonderSwan, PlayStation (PSP), Game Boy Advance, and Pixel Remaster. I also tried remixing these sound sources together. About this “Compare & Remix” Series These videos focus on comparing original game tracks with their versions on other platforms. By remixing (mashing up) the different sound sources, I aim to highlight their unique qualities and discover new sounds. As a basic rule, I only compare music from the same game, as including all versions would be overwhelming and hurt the quality of the remix. Thank you for your understanding. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Why isn’t the PSP source included? A: It uses the same audio as the PlayStation version, so it’s omitted. The GBA version uses the same arrangement, but with different instrument sounds. Q: Why not include the mobile (feature phone) app version? A: I don’t have the means to record from those versions right now, so they’re not included in this video.
