本作品は、国立映画アーカイブが所蔵する文化・記録映画など映画作品を配信するWEBサイト「フィルムは記録する ―国立映画アーカイブ歴史映像ポータル―」https://filmisadocument.jp（制作：国立映画アーカイブ、国立情報学研究所）の公開作品です。 『英國皇太子殿下 御來朝實况 大正十一年四月十二日』(エイコクコウタイシデンカ ゴライチョウジッキョウ タイショウジュウイチネンシガツジュウニニチ、1922年) 日本活動寫眞株式會社 11分,白黒,サイレント 1921年の皇太子裕仁親王の英国訪問の返礼として1922年に来日したイギリスのエドワード皇太子（後の国王エドワード8世）の日本到着を伝える。4月12日の英国皇太子一行の横浜港到着と日本側の歓迎の様子および東京駅から赤坂離宮（現在の迎賓館）に向かう馬車列を各所から捉えた前半と、同月15日に裕仁親王とともに臨んだ代々木練兵場での観兵式を記録した後半で構成されている。エドワード皇太子は5月9日に離日するまでに日本各地を訪れた。 「フィルムは記録する ―国立映画アーカイブ歴史映像ポータル―」では、1921年から1938年までの間に製作された作品を中心に43作品を新たに公開いたします。今回の公開では、社会的話題から市民生活までをテーマとした多様な作品に加え、重要文化財フィルム『史劇 楠公訣別』を公開しています。国立映画アーカイブでは、今後も随時公開作品を増やしていく予定です。ぜひサイトをお訪ねください。 ---------------------------------------- This is one of the films featured on the website “Film IS a Document: NFAJ Historic Film Portal” (a joint project of the National Film Archive of Japan and the National Institute of Informatics) which streams a selection of titles from the NFAJ film collection with initial focus on cultural and documentary films. The fourth edition of this site presents 43 additional titles covering mainly the years from 1921 to 1938.
