We started our day by going to church while Akeen stayed home to get some much-needed rest after working night shift. Later in the day, we came together as a family and enjoyed an amazing beautiful day having a barbecue on our balcony! Akeen fired up the grill and cooked authentic Jamaican jerk chicken, and it turned out absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection! While dinner was cooking, we spent time asking each other fun questions, sharing lots of laughs, learning new things about each other and making memories together.
