Hello, foodies! 👨‍🍳 Today I’ll show you my incredible recipe for RUSTIC OVEN-BAKED CHICKEN LIVERS. They are incredibly easy to make, everything happens in one roasting tin, and the result is phenomenal - tender livers in a rich beer sauce with mushrooms and roasted peppers! The secret is in the pre-roasting and the perfectly balanced sauce. Don't forget to subscribe to the channel and hit the like button if you enjoy the recipe! ❤️ 🛒 INGREDIENTS: Chicken livers (approx. 500 g) Mushrooms (chestnut or button) – 250 g Onion – 3 bulbs Carrot – 1 large (or 2 small) Roasted peppers – 4 pcs Plain flour – 4 tbsp Sunflower or vegetable oil – for greasing and drizzling Water – 250 ml Beer (lager) – 250 ml Tomato purée (paste) – 2 tbsp Red pepper paste – 1 tbsp Garlic granules – 1 tsp Dried savory (or thyme) – 1 tsp Sugar – 1 tsp (to balance acidity) Salt and black pepper – to taste Fresh parsley – for garnish 🎬 METHOD: 1️⃣ Wash the livers very well, chop them, and place them in a deep bowl. Season with salt and black pepper to taste and mix. 2️⃣ Add 4 tablespoons of flour and mix well again to coat the livers. 3️⃣ Take a baking tin, grease the bottom, and arrange the coated livers. 4️⃣ Chop the mushrooms (250 g), carrots (into rounds), and onions (into half-moons), and add them to the tin with the livers. 5️⃣ Lightly salt the vegetables, mix well, and drizzle everything with oil. Place in a preheated oven at 160-180°C (Fan) to roast, opening and stirring occasionally. 6️⃣ Meanwhile, prepare the magic sauce! In a bowl, pour 250 ml of water, add the tomato purée (2 tbsp) and the red pepper paste (1 tbsp). Season with 1 tsp dried savory, 1 tsp garlic granules, and 1 tsp sugar. Mix well and pour in 250 ml of beer. 7️⃣ Chop the 4 roasted peppers. 8️⃣ Remove the tin from the oven (the vegetables should be slightly roasted by now). Add the chopped roasted peppers and pour the beer sauce over everything. Stir well. 9️⃣ Return to the oven for another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens perfectly. 🔟 Remove from the oven and sprinkle generously with fresh parsley!
