Abstract painting is not just about learning colors and techniques. Sometimes you stand in front of a painting that already looks beautiful — and yet you feel it is not finished. In this video, I take you through my creative process in abstract acrylic painting. We explore doubt, intuitive decisions, painting over a piece that already worked, and one of the most difficult questions in art: When is a painting truly finished? Using acrylic paint, charcoal, chalk, a window squeegee and brushes, an abstract artwork develops step by step. Along the way, I share not only techniques, but also the challenging moments in between: uncertainty, dead ends, changes of direction and the courage to keep going.
