Stockholm 1909: Slussen & Katarinahissen - Remastered 4K 60fps

A assembly of films taken in 1909, set in the Slussen surroundings. A boat from Norrland has just arrived at Skeppsbron and people go ashore. Men outside the goods warehouse, with the boat 'Gefle' in the background. We walk down to Fiskarhamnen where fish is weighed. The steamer 'Enköping' enters the lock. We take a ride up the steam powered elevator Katarinahissen and from there see Slussen with the Old Town in the background, the railway bridge, boats meet, Fiskarhuset, Fiskarhamnen and Skeppsbron. We then ride down the elevator again and finally get a panoramic view from Kornhamns torg. The footage has been remastered to 4K 60 frames per second using various AI and software. Sound has been carefully added manually for ambiance and finally the images has been colorized using AI to present this time travel experience. This is an artistic interpretation of the original footage and is by no means intended to replace the original film and its historical value. The color and sound is NOT historically accurate and it is added for ambiance.
