Gluetread VS. Sidewall Slug | Off-road Tire Sidewall Repair

in this video we try out both Gluetread sidewall repair kit and a Sidewall Slug to repair our 35" rockzilla that got a tear in the sidewall on our trip to ben franklin range! This tire repair is done between the tire lugs o the sidewall which is not the ideal situation. I compare these two products and test them both out to see which one holds up the best! These are expensive tires so we wanted to attempt to repair them before replacing because there is quite a bit more tread left on them. you can do this repair on almost any vehicle tire. I plan to use one of these as a long term solution for this tire. I will be using it on the road and trails but both of these products are recommended as a temporary fix for off-road use only so use at your own risk.
