I hiked Dutasan Mountain in Donghae, Gangwon-do, South Korea. 📍Route Mureung Valley - Gorge Macheonru - Betelbawi Rock Returned to the starting point and moved by car Cheoneunsa Temple - Swineumsan Mountain - Osipjeong Dutasan is a mountain in the Taebaek mountain range, known for its deep valleys, rocky ridges, waterfalls, and dramatic rock formations. Mureung Valley lies between Dutasan Mountain and Cheongoksan Mountain, and is known for its wide rock beds, clear streams, waterfalls, and forest trails. In the second half of the journey, I moved to Cheoneunsa Temple and hiked up to Swineumsan. At the top of Swineumsan is Osipjeong, a wide rock area with many small, well-like holes. The name Osipjeong means “fifty wells,” and Swineumsan is also known for these natural rock holes that hold rainwater after it rains. This video is not a fast hiking guide or a detailed route tutorial. It is a quiet outdoor retreat film, capturing the deep scenery of Dutasan and the feeling of spending a day and night on Swineumsan.
