Variable Compressor Diagnostic and Replacement with Inverter Board on a Heat Pump EP201

Got called out for a second opinion on this Bryant communicating heat pump. The customer was quoted $20,000 to replaced the compressor, inverter board and flush the refrigerant lines. Keep in mind this unit is under warranty. So the customer calls my company out. Looks a bit fishy at first as I found a bunch of disconnected wires. I found the compressor was grounded. With variable compressors it's always a good idea to replaced the inverter board along with the compressor. Since the parts were all under warranty I was able to make the repair at a much more reasonable price.
