DiY Convert Laptop Webcam to USB Webcam

A good way to reuse parts from a broken laptop is to convert a laptop webcam to a USB webcam. This is a fairly quick guide on how to do this. To use a shortcut read below. When testing which wire is which, instead of soldering the wires you can use an electrical tape or pins (for hanging clothes). Once you find the right wires, solder them. The testing can be done without the battery and just plug the cable into a USB socket on your PC. Nothing bad should happen, to you or your PC, if you connect the wrong wires, that's why I used pins to test the wire combinations quickly.
