Convert Webcam (CK77 94V-0)of Dell Inspiron 1420 to a USB webcam to be used with desktop PC
The Webcam from a malfunctioned Dell Inspiron 1420 was removed. Pinout information were checked Pin 1 is GND Pin 2 D+ Pin 3 D- Pin 4 Power supply 5 V Pin 5-8 for Audio. Pins form wire connectors were exposed and soldered to wires. Those wires are connected to USB cable accordingly . Hot glue is pushed in between pins and wires to prevent short circuit. Camera is stuck on top of a desktop monitor as webcam. Diver installation is not necessary in Windows 10 x 64 bit and windows 11 .
