Jesse MacLachlan ~ EVIDENT Mental Health Awareness Month Testimonial

Veterans and Americans struggling with mental health conditions should not have to leave the United States to access the care they need and deserve. For too many people, the mental health system has failed to provide treatments that deliver lasting results, leaving patients with little choice but to seek help elsewhere. ARPA-H is working to help change that by supporting the development of evidence based, fast acting treatments like psychedelics and helping build a future where they can be safely integrated into the American healthcare system and made accessible to the patients who may benefit from them most. Thank you to Jesse MacLachlan of Reason for Hope and the Veteran Mental Health Leadership Coalition for being a tireless advocate on this issue. During Mental Health Awareness Month and beyond, ARPA-H will continue advancing new approaches to mental health care so more Americans can access treatments that are grounded in evidence, delivered safely, and capable of changing lives.
