As a result, Despite usually being wholely Arriva operations, Merseyside independents Happy Al's and Peoplesbus were called to action to help keep everyone moving at peak times. New to Lothian Buses as their 306 in April 2009, This Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 lasted until late 2021, When newer purchases by the company rendered it obsolete. It was purchased by Happy Al's of Birkenhead around that time, joining their decent selection of ex Lothian Gemini 2s that they already had at the time.
