SURFSKI Cold Comfort with 40Kt gusts

So the first snow on the Cape mountains arrived very early this year, just a day ago. But I really have no business talking about the cold in False Bay where the min air temp we are likely to face is 10 degrees Celsius and water temp of approx 14 degrees (although the records do reflect an all time low of 10), when there are other paddlers who confront truly FREEZING conditions - check out this video:    • Ice cold surfing   The 6 of us on this run gut lucky with the wind as it peaked for the duration of our run. The 40Kt gusts referred to in the title can be seen in the opening clip and then, perhaps, just once more about 3/4 of the way through the video.
