Running 70km from Scotland to England on the dramatic Berwickshire Coast.

Join me on a solo ultramarathon adventure as I undertake another one of Scotland's Great Trails...the Berwickshire Coastal Path. My journey started 20k up the coastline in Dunbar, where I finished the John Muir way last year. There is an extention to this trail called the John Muir Link which would take me to the actual start of today's run in Cockburnspath (which just so happens to be the end of the Southern Upland Way and the Race Across Scotland). The scenery was so dramatic, running along the top of steep cliffs, rugged coastline and some really mucky trails. To add to the difficulty, a yellow weather warning for heavy rain had been forecast leading to a particularly wet end to the day.
