The Sub 20 5k Project Final: Race Day
16 weeks in the making, the time has come. In this episode of the Sub 20 5K Project, I document the culmination of the entire training block leading into race day. From my final shakeout run to the mindset I carried into the starting line, this video captures the reality of chasing a goal that once felt far away. This video features: • My final thoughts before the race • Race day mentality and strategy • How the race actually unfolded kilometer by kilometer • What I learned during the 16-week training block • What I learned physically and mentally from pursuing a sub-20-minute 5K This project was never just about going sub 20. It was about proving to myself that if I am truly determined in my heart to achieve something, I can get it. It is my hope that the byproduct of me chasing my goals so rigorously lights a spark in you to chase your goals too. Whether you are training for your first 5K, chasing a personal best, or trying to prove something to yourself, I hope this series gives you something valuable to take into your own journey. Thank you to everyone who followed along from week 1. The work is done. Race day is here.
