Douglas C-53 Beach City Baby 2023 Season Recap

As the year comes to an end, we want to highlight the season we have had. Beach City Baby made her second year on the airshow circuit one to remember! The crew flew 12 events this season across PA, OH, NJ, and MI. With every stop this season we were welcomed with an overwhelming amount of support and appreciation. Operating an 81 year old warbird in 2023 was no easy task! With a tight economy, rising operating costs, and 100% volunteer based crew we faced our challenges. However, seeing the impact we are able to make on others push us to grow and continue our mission in 2024! Thank you to each and every member, donor, and member of the public who visited us and supported our mission this season. Without the amazing support we received throughout the year we would not be able to showcase such a wonderful aircraft and use it to educate and inspire both new and older generations on the history of our country, aviation, and most importantly those who gave their lives for our country.
