Source:    • NF - Let You Down   Forgiveness is one of the hardest things to do for someone who has caused trauma, resentment, anger, and self hatred. In certain instances, forgiveness can be the healing that BOTH parties need! I've been there. I've had to forgive certain people who've caused me pain. I had to remind myself not to become just like they were. I had to also remind myself that if they were genuinely trying to extend an olive branch for change, that means they've done some self reflecting and want to take steps to become a better person. Why can't you do the same? Is it worth it to allow your negative feelings to fester? Is it helping anyone in this situation?
